Asian Countries
India
Indian nationals do not need passport or visa going to Nepal. However,if they take a international flight they must hold a valid id proving that they are Indian citizens.
China
Chinese nationals do not need a visa to visit Nepal. However, they need a valid passport.
Other South Asian Countries
Nationals from Afganistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Maldives, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka need visas travelling to Nepal. However, they don't need to pay for visa.
Other Asian Countries
Nationals from AZERBAIJAN, ARMENIA, BAHRAIN, BRUNEI, CAMBODIA, East Timor, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordan, KUWAIT, KYRGYZSTAN, Laos, LEBANON, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Syria, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Turkeministan UAE, Ujbekistan, Vietnam, and Yemen may or may not need visas prior coming to Nepal. Obtaining Visa
Visas can also be obtained on arrival from the Immigration authorities at all entry points (with fees payable in US Dollars) provided travellers are in possession of valid travel documents, two passport photos and the relevant fee. Applications for business visas must be made to the Department of Immigration.

Tourist visa fee is £20 (single-entry); £55 (multiple-entry).
